Drishyam 2 Review – Real Facts

Drishyam 2 is one of those films that are both a great entertainment experience and a risky proposition. The first film was so good that it made it impossible to deliver the same success with the sequel. And audiences don’t usually accept shortcomings in sequels. So, the first half of the movie is slow but its second half is full of thrilling action and Jeethu Joseph proves that he has the talent to pull off a sequel of this caliber.

The story follows the missing child Varun, and a man named Georgekutty who has preserved evidence of Varun’s death. The whole family mourns Varun’s death, and Geeta and Prabhakar try to cope with the traumatic loss. But while they are trying to get the truth out, the Police department is closing in on Rambabu. While their families try to find the murderer, the police are closing in.

Jeethu Joseph has made a point to show Georgekutty’s life in context and only uses slow motion staring when it’s necessary. It also spends a lot of time with tertiary and secondary characters in the film. This helps create a sense of town. In addition, Drishyam 2 is very effective outside of the city. It’s an excellent movie to watch if you like crime dramas.

Drishyam 2 is a sequel to the 2013 Malayalam crime drama Drishyam. It was released on February 19, 2021 and was directed by Jeethu Joseph. Mohanlal, Asha Sarath, Ansiba Hassan, and Sai Kumar are among the stars of the film. The film’s music is composed by Anil Johnson and is released by Amazon Prime Video.

The sequel is a deus ex machina with unexpected red herrings. It follows the fate of Georgekutty and his family six years after the events of the first film. The police are experimenting with new ploys to unravel the case and expose the truth behind the crime. While Georgekutty is trying to save his family, he must choose between a successful career in the film industry and saving his family. And while the buried truth cannot stay buried forever, there are many twists and turns in the sequel.

While the storyline is not as complex as the first, the cast is a key part of the film. Mohanlal, Meena, and Ansiba all bring nuance to the role and make the film even more entertaining. In addition to Mohanlal, Akshaye Khanna is in a role new to him. But there are still some ambiguities in the storyline, which only adds to the suspense and the enjoyment.
